Man accused of attacking a flamingo at Busch Gardens Tampa

And to top it off it was a trained flamingo that would dance for the children. Just heartbreaking.

Why would someone want to do that??

Florida....seems to attract the strange (and in this case sad) stories of life.

He's a real winner:

According to the Florida Department of Corrections, Corrao served two years in prison for willfully fleeing and eluding law enforcement; driving under the influence, third conviction; and aggravated assault of a person 65 years or older charges out of Columbia County in north Florida. He was released last year.

(From Orlando Sentinel article http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/crime/os-pinky-flamingo-dead-busch-gardens-20160803-story.html )

Probably shouldn't be allowed to make his own decisions.

The guy could be heading towards murdering someone. Some killers start out with animals and progress to bigger animals.

Or The original Outer Limits Flight of Fear" with the OTS restrains. An all day event would make him think twice about hurting anything else.... But then again that would be cruel and unusual punishment... [emoji12]

I must be a masochist... 11 times in a row and only stopped because the park was closed. Back then they wouldn't launch without at least 10 people on, so the wait was for a few more people to get on.

Poor Pinky.

There's been a lot of animals dying due to humans being arses, lately.

There's seems to be a growing disconnect between 'self' and the reality beyond self.

There's a huge lack of empathy and remorse now. People do hurtful things with no concern for anyone. I have a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better.

By Royal Decree I hereby sentence you to marathon Mean Streak from open to close.

I've got a better one- have him marathon Wild Mouse at Dorney Park (or Skyrush at Hershey) from open to close. That'll teach him! :P

Seriously, though; wow! :( I'm curious about the events that led up to this guy grabbing Pinky (like, was he mad at someone, or did he do it just because?).

I love me some Wild Mouse! Mean Streak is worse, Runaway Reptar.....hang em high for headbanger.

I'd imagine that aggravated assault charge won't help his case here - just further evidence that this guy is prone to violence. Hopefully Florida law allows for a pretty severe punishment in this case.

Just wow!  Such horrible news.  Why can't we all just live in peace.

Because.....uh....um....Reasons. That's it Reasons.
