July 14, 201610 yr Hersheypark is beginning to drop clues about their new attraction for next year. They also have a contest going right now where you can win a 2017 pass and be one of the first to ride said new attraction next year. See http://www.hersheypark.com/2017/index.php for more info and to enter.
July 14, 201610 yr Shocked no one posted this, but i'm real interested in this, they are claiming it will be a "First of its kind attraction"
July 14, 201610 yr I don't know if the clues would match up, but I think the feeling is that HP will finally be getting a dropping tower (going by multiple coaster forums here). silver2005, avoiding the capitalization filter.
July 15, 201610 yr It's been rumored I think for a while, but would it be first of a kind attraction? Totally throwing it out there, what if it were a horizontal thrust ride? Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
August 2, 201610 yr New for Hersheypark in 2017- Triple Tower. 3 S&S Towers, all with upward and downward thrusts during their cycles (S&S Double Shots) - Hershey's Kisses Tower- 80 ft - Reese's Tower- 131 ft - Hershey's Tower- 189 ft Location near Kissing Tower http://www.hersheypark.com/2017/
August 2, 201610 yr Only Hershey's Kisses Tower and Reese's Tower are Double Shots, Hershey's Tower is a Combo Tower, and it has rotating seats, which is a first for any S&S Tower.
August 3, 201610 yr Why am I less than thrilled with a Power Tower type ride at Hersheypark? So many years later--I want to say Whoopty-Doo. I just did.
August 3, 201610 yr Seems alittle silly to have three different towers, I get that they are each a different experience but still. Drop Tower at Carowinds and Freefall at Tweetsie while two completely different rides still do the same basic thing. Raise up and drop down.
