I visited Kings Island on June 30, and just wanted to know if anyone knows why Vortex was closed all day. Any help or reasons why are appreciated! Thanks! MaestroJr

    It was closed for a few days, my guess it was a maintenance reason.

    It was up and running last week, so either they closed it because they don't like you or because of some (relatively) minor maintenance issue that took a few days to fix.

     

    I'll go with the later until I meet you :)

    some issues are easily remedied; others, not so much.  Several years ago, Delirium was down for 3/4 of the season awaiting a new motor, among other parts from Huss.  And of course, WindSeeker had lots of bumps when it first opened, until the extra shock absorbers were placed around the ride just above the seats.
