Hmmm. When I zoom in, all I can see is "Obi-Don!"

Nothing to see here. Just some trees, and a few engineers and stone carvers working on an 80' statue... move along

  • Hi guys!  Long time follower, first time poster.  Just wanted to finally join in on the fun!  This is the first season I've had a pass in probably more than a decade!  I grew up in the area but I mov

still believe that it will be a giga. This idea is as if you were standing on the platform for the railroad train. The coaster station sits to the right of the train station and on the other side of the tracks. Queue line begins where the old funnel cake stand used to be and crosses the train tracks where WWC crossing bridge was. A new underground tunnel will allow riders to walk safely under the train tracks(also built to withstand more years than the wooden bridge for WWC. although it was replaced in spots it was still old enough to go) and will be disguised with the usual Rivertown "mining" theme. The coaster pulls out of the station to the right (towards the waterpark) and a quick left turn sends the cars into the lift hill. The lift hill goes up over the right side of WWC(reason for the clearing in those areas and the markers seen on the train ride update videos located after the bridge by WWC. Parallel to the building used to store the trains) cresting to the right of the train in the clearing after the bridge. It dives deep into the valley and rolls into some record breaking elements in the space between the waterpark and The Beast. Dipping down in between the 4th and 6th hill of Diamondback, we see the classic double helix in the space directly behind the tomb raider building. Passing back under the DB hills making a right turn, dipping and diving through the trees, into a splashdown(a revamped overflow pond for WWC) before pulling back into the station.

This is just my thought/desire of what will go into that space. For all we know it could be CAMP SNOOPY, a campground INSIDE the park. Until we get more clues my mind will run wild! Feel free to pick this idea apart. I know its coming...

If this is a coaster this looks like it could use the terrain really well....

That's a great place for a campground, and the road to get to it is already there... ;)

For all the conspiracy theorist.

On the chalkboard out front, one of the 100 reasons to buy a gold pass for 2016?

Project 2017.

As Terp would say.

Have FUN!

"15 world class coasters" we have 14...

I thought about that. Because I know Cedar Point counts their, but Kings Island had never really advertised it openly as a coaster that I knew of..

Lime green and orange track, obviously.

During The Beast tour.

Random guest: So how many acres is the 2017 project gonna take.

Don: Well, we can put a couple picnic tables out there and have a place for employees to eat lunch.

Best answer yet.

Yea, I'd like to see the that.

I took some pics, but my phone is so old it almost is in black & white.

Literally.

Wait green as in green Intamin track.......sorry but I had to.

Kings Island teases their upcoming attractions better then anyone imo. I can't wait to get back to the park now that there is more then just markers.

edit: By the way I think we have seen the last of Intamin at CF parks for a while. Just had to make the joke.

Mr Speigel had a hidden tease. His slides showed the timeline of major additions to KI. 2017 was there and had the "watch for falling trees" sign. He didn't mention anything about that. But quite funny. His boots and handkerchief here green. Didn't match anything he was wearing. edbff9247f174a46bfffe71be0e121ac.jpg
