Should PKI build an indoor ride similar to POTC?

Featured Replies

Disney is blessed with Pirates of the Caribbean, an indoor, dark boat ride with animatronics. Should PKI attempt something similar? If so what? Pirates? Mark Twain? What?

Well, Mark Twain was from Missouri. A ride like that would go good with SFSL. They should make a new idea in indoor water ride like that. Maybe themed to some movie? Cal

I think that PKI needs more indoor rides because when it rains heavily or worse, the majority of guests aren't left with many options.

I love riding coasters in the rain. It goes faster. And going 70+ MPH on Mamba here during the rain hurts. Right in the face. Cal

Yeah, but when lightning strikes ALL outdoor rides are closed. That's why I think PKI needs more indoor rides.

If I recall KI did used to have such a ride. It was the Enchanted Voyage into the Smurf Village. Probably the most famous and most popular ride (that wasn't a coaster) at King's Island before it was bought by Paramount. I remember riding this when I was younger, and I still hear guests talk about it today about how much they loved it. To have a ride similar to this would be great for the park in general. It would bring back a part of the past that people loved.

If they do decide to do this it would probably wouldn't be the Smurfs but themed after another paramount movie or Nickelodeon show.
