If they can leave up a Haunt building year round rather than have to set it up every Halloween they're going to do it.

Still not a fan of the combination of little to no lighting in places along with excess fog in some of the heavy traffic areas.  Seems like an accident waiting to happen

The Street Drum Corps' Blood Drums at Kings Island Facebook page had a post this week (for the first activity this year) that mentions "great new things happening with SDC and BLOOD DRUMS this year!"

So that sounds like they're coming back.

So don't they usually announce Haunt stuff around the end of August?

I just thought how cool it would be if the temporary juggler replacement they had last week at Origins returned this fall as a fire juggler in a new Skeleton Crew show!

Due to construction of Mystic Timbers,  Tombstone Territory I think will not be a maze this year. I do see a change in one of the outdoor mazes like cornstalkers or backyard bayou this year and maybe more scare actors / fog in Rivertown due to Tombstone being closed.

So don't they usually announce Haunt stuff around the end of August?

They usually put up the website and do better teasers starting Labor day weekend.

I'm guessing something-big for the big 15th anniversary of Halloween Haunt. Maybe they'll bring back a few of the old classic mazes for a year to celebrate! Would love a return of Massacre Manor, The Worksite, and Trail of Terror for a year. How cool would that be?!

I'm really hoping that they just make Rivertown a scare zone itself and us the scare actors and props from Tombstone Terror-tory to make a ghost town theme around. Would really enhance the area and be a great addition, as well as easy to do with all of the props there.

Did anyone go through Blackout when they had it open earlier in the season for the gold pass ride night? Was it the same as it was with Haunt last year?

I just remembered I had a dream where I heard someone tell me they were changing Sorority House to a Crazy Cat Lady house

Has anyone else noticed that they haven't really said anything about Haunt this year when they normally have teasers out by now? I feel like they aren't going to have anything new this year and we are just gonna loose a maze due to Mystic Timbers construction. Does anyone think they will have a new maze next year to go along with the new coaster?

Wouldn't it be cool to take the train all the way to Soak City, disembark to walk through a maze inside the waterpark and then ride the train back to RiverTown?
