May 3, 201610 yr I haven't been to the brew festival before. Will crowds be any bigger this Friday than a typical Friday in May?
May 3, 201610 yr Author Possibly, due to the fact that it's suppose to be really nice this weekend, and a festival is obviously happening. It was successful last year.
May 3, 201610 yr Not a comment on the park operations but we were at the park Sunday in line for Skyline right before it started to rain. Then it down poured. Guest came in and flocked in the skyline and sat at tables not eating. While, paying customers couldn't find a seat to eat at because of this. Downright rude if you ask me!

Downright rude if you ask Unfortunately this happens every time that it rains. People even flock to the food locations that don't have indoor patios such as street larosas, and even though employees tell them they can't be there guest do not listen and insist on being in the way.
May 5, 201610 yr Does anybody know what happened to the dramatic music that would play on Banshee's lift hill before the Banshee scream? I just realized that it was gone this year.
May 5, 201610 yr I heard the Banshee scream but not the music, I guess I might have bad hearing or something.
May 5, 201610 yr More than likely just a button that a ride operator forgot to press. Unacceptable but understandable. The Banshee scream is probably automated and can only be disabled by the maintenance team.
May 5, 201610 yr I appreciate the music, though I've never noticed it on-ride before. They should definitely keep that on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
May 5, 201610 yr I've noticed that Diamondback's crew has been doing better with reasonable dispatches. It is not at all as good as they were when the ride opened, but it is better than last year. Let's hope they can continue to improve!
May 5, 201610 yr Last time I was riding an associate was going around and taking people's bags after one train dispatches and would hand them over to another associate on the other side once the next train came in.

May 5, 201610 yr I'll be up at the park tomorrow before work. Hopefully it won't be too crowded in the morning since the Banshee Brew Festival doesn't start until 4.

Nah.....what's unacceptable is a ride operator not checking restraints or letting a child who isn't tall enough ride.
May 5, 201610 yr Well yeah. I agree. But part of a ride is the theming. You are giving an extreme example of something unacceptable. I'm just talking about things that are easily forgotten and it will just keep happening over time more than likely which is why I said unacceptable.
May 5, 201610 yr Try riding "Its a Small World" at Disney without the tracks playing..... I don't know if that would make the ride a million times better or a million times worse...
May 5, 201610 yr Author More than likely just a button that a ride operator forgot to press. Unacceptable but understandable. The Banshee scream is probably automated and can only be disabled by the maintenance team. There is sometimes where operators will stop Banshee at the top of the lift hill, (right when the scream is triggered) and then move the train again causing the scream to go off once more. A double scream is what they called it (also said they usually do it during haunt) As for music. It's probably something that you just couldn't hear due to the loud train, and other noises going on. (When I last heard the audio this year, It sounded quite quiet to me.)
May 6, 201610 yr Not sure if this was posted yet, but the new front signage was put back up this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

May 6, 201610 yr When I asked a Beast crew member why the lights in the double helix tunnel were on he responded with "They are supposed to be". /facepalm
May 6, 201610 yr Try riding "Its a Small World" at Disney without the tracks playing..... Or being stuck 100 feet from the exit platform for 30 minutes. Just within ear reach of the singing doll.

May 6, 201610 yr I wonder if Kings Island has any future plans for the old Paramount Story area, the only use I see for it is for Haunt.
