I realize most of you probably know of this ride, but I only discovered it today with this article.  I really love the theming of how the queue wraps all around the ride with onlookers and how the riders face forward/backward.  Not that I like it better than the original Tomb Raider, but it's just an awesome looking ride.

 

I'm no expert but I'm guessing its the smaller version of a top spin and not the giant we had at Kings Island.  I always appreciated the theming around these rides.

That ride is most definitely on my bucket list!

Because its always about the bottom line... US parks will never leave an opportunity to make more money. So theming usually goes out the door because of the extra financial burden of upkeep of said theming.

I definitely would ride that, I probably wont ever though, mainly because I couldn't afford to go to Germany, or Canada for that matter.

You and I both- always wanted to go to the Black Forest and study the woodcarvings.

Phantasialand is on my list- it's just got that unique "it" factor, much like other theme parks I'd like to visit (Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Disney's California Adventure, Six Flags New England, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Thorpe Park, Tokyo DisneySea). And yes, I'd ride Talocan!
