    Your first payment will also include the sales tax for the full price of the pass, so make a note of that too. Your first payment will likely be considerably higher than any of the rest.

    You should only be paying tax on the dining plan if purchased. KI does not charge a tax on passes or admission.

    Ah, OK. That would be it then. The tax did seem a bit lower than it should have been when I bought mine.
