I know this isn't "KI" news but for some reason I couldn't post in the KIC Forum so this may need to be moved but Carowinds just held their announcement recently and sees as though their waterpark is getting some love as well. 

 

More interestingly is the new show they are getting called...Cirque Imagine!

^Judging by your post, I don't think you're aware of the fact that Kings Island had that show for the last 2 years, and trust me, we're fully aware its at Carowinds next season.  We've a small fan club for that show 'round these parts.

And the "recently old friend"...

I'm well aware the show has been there.  Actually I have seen the show over 30 times in the last two years (my grandson LOVES it).  It's the best show they've had in that theatre since Celebration ('82-'83 I believe, I still have the LP) and Gotta Dance('84 - '85).

 

It will be interesting to see what they do next year.  I've always wanted them to bring back a version of the Celebration show.
