August 5, 201511 yr I have a trip planned that way in a couple of weeks, and I'm hoping that they'll get it up by then. A ride on this coaster in the front seat - late in the day or at night - is IMO the best coaster experience in the US outside of my rides on Fury 325.
August 5, 201511 yr Troubleshooting and repairing lightning strike damage is a huge pain in the fanny.... not only do you have to usually replace every single PLC and main drive, but also usually every limit switch, prox switch, and any other device connected to said PLC/drive. If you are LUCKY, the wiring can be salvaged, but very possibly not in the case of an amusement attraction where inspectors can sometimes be very finicky.... and rightfully so I might add.
