Aww, no Planet Snoopy means no Woodstock Gliders! Another reason for me to be upset they put the ride over there.

Are all the coasters open for this event?

Woodstock Express, Surf Dog, The Great Pumpkin Coaster and Flying Ace Aerial Chase appear not to be....

From what I remember hearing last year, it's a fantastic time to go because no lines.

Bout time you posted this, Cody, LOL!  I had to Google it last week to  find out when it was, ticket prices, etc etc.  Even though I missed it last year while trying to keep my business operational, it would take a Global ending event to keep myself and two incredibly special Friends of mine away this year!!

Sorry for the D.P., but you heard right!  Thats not the only reason BY FAR, that its a truly Fabulous night, but that is one heck of a great perk of the night!  Some other things that make it great (besides the very obvious enjoyment of feeling totally Free to be "me" without worry of a bunch of un-needed B.S.) are A)No obnoxious line-jumping and other such jackassery B)No equally obnoxious basketball bouncing C)Everyone in the park, from guests to employees, are without fail having a GREAT time and enjoying all of the GOOD things an amusement park CAN offer.

Side note.... I truly wish they would open Surf Dog and Woodstock Gliders for the event

So Planet Snoopy is going to be completely in the dark with the electricity shut off? I can't see why they can't have to two rides that are also for adults open?

 

I'm seriously asking: is it because the circuitry of the park?

Would love to go, have always had something come up the weekend of it and couldn't go. This year I just don't think i'll have the extra money to spend for the tickets that night. Have to make sure to get a trip to it next year. Have always heard it's a great time.

Staffing would be my guess. It would take Kings Island more employees to pay to keep Planet Snoopy open during said private event.

I have yet to attend one of these, I may just have to register soon. I'll have to wait until September becomes a bit more concrete but very awesome to see this!

Staffing isn't a issue, its what the center paid for to be open that night. 

I'm just bumping this to remind people it is coming up. I really wish I could make it this year.

Does anyone know if photos will be going and if the meal plan works that night?

The meal plan works only when the park is open to the public...or a group purchases it.

I will be there!  Looking forward to this wonderful night for a good cause.

I will most certainly be there, my first trip to the park this year, and I plan on making it one FABULOUS night.  Im working on getting Indyguy4KI to ride along with me, to enjoy the park at its best.

I'll be there again this year. Just finalizing lodging. Late start to that this year. Had always stayed at Kings Island Resort in the past.

i think it is because they are setting up for Halloween Haunt this weekend and next.

We do too!  We spotted you once last Sunday on main street while we were FINALLY eating after a 45 minute line wait.---This is Amy.

We cannot wait for this evening.  Just praying the thunder storms stay away!  We heard from so many people how fun it was last year!  Just bummed about the no ride photos.  Our autistic son livens up more on the rides after dark.  Oh well, there are still haunt nights for pics!

For the second year in a row, extenuating circumstances have altered my plan, and I will no longer be attending tonights event.  

I will be there.. but I likely will not be seen.

The rain percentage goes from 30% up to 70% back down to 40% throughout the day. Storms like this hit the Ohio River valley and kinda scatter a bit, so it probably won't be a constant rain.
