September 23, 201411 yr I thought this was a neat find and one that many here would appreciate. A friend of mine set up a dealer booth this past weekend at the Cincinnati Comic Expo and someone brought in these two old KI parking signs. I considered purchasing one, but they are massive. He may still have then, so if anyone is interested, contact me and I will hook you up with the seller. Enjoy!
September 23, 201411 yr Author DO you know how much he had on them? I might be interested in one.... I believe he wanted around $250 a piece. I'm not completely sure. I'll ask.
September 23, 201411 yr Maybe I'm wrong, but I seem to remember different ones that were in color - one in particular was Penelope Pit-stop. Am I dreaming this, r am I right> If so, I'd like to find out about one of those.

Additionally, as new attractions were added you would see new parking signs arranged with the same color scheme and new logos. I.E. Drop Zone and Face/Off were added as well as Son of Beast in their respective years. Eventually, these were all gone too.
September 24, 201411 yr I walked all over the expo last weekend and didn't see those. If I could only justify spending $250 on KI memorabilia (and had somewhere to put one of those)...
September 24, 201411 yr I would definitely spend my money on any Kings Island memorabilia, also I am collecting old maps of the park, I found some good deals on Ebay, I can't find a 1993 map, that's the one I want most.
September 24, 201411 yr I was just thinking about those ! I miss parking in the Scooby-Doo lot and The Papa Smurf Lot ! Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
September 24, 201411 yr I also remember the Huckleberry Hound one too, when I was little in the late 1990s when I was little.
July 27, 201511 yr Those are fantastic. I miss those signs. It's such a little thing but it was a nice touch. I can still hear the tram drivers. "Next stop Scooby Doo 3 and Bam Bam 7."
July 27, 201511 yr My wife, sister-in-law, and I were just talking about these signs Saturday when we were at the park. We were recalling all the different characters used for the different rows. Gosh do I miss those signs! I've always thought they were better than what we have now. I've always been a bigger fan of the characters than the rides.
January 19, 20179 yr Sooooo jealous! Scrappy Doo was one of my favorites as a kid although as an adult I can see he was actually pretty annoying. Welcome to KIC!!!
February 20, 20179 yr Does anyone know where I might be able to find one of these parking signs currently?
February 27, 20179 yr The original seller of these first sold them at the Burlington Antique Show a few years back. He has LOTS if them circa 2014 (+/-). Reaching out to them might help in seeing if the original seller still has any. https://www.facebook.com/burlingtonantiqueshow/?fref=ts
