Dollar Days Returning to Kings Island

Featured Replies

Daily operations may have ended at Kings Island but the fun certainly isn't over! Over Labor Day weekend, August 30th - September 1st, guests of Kings Island will see the return of the wildly popular Dollar Days!

Special deals include hot dogs, LaRosa's pizza, soft drinks, blue ice cream, scooped lemonade, soft drinks, cotton candy, watermelon slices, and more for just $1! Additionally, Gold and Platinum pass holders can bring up to four (4) friends for just $19.99 each!

Season passes for the 2015 season are currently on sale for the lowest price of the season! Visit Kings Island's official web site for more information on 2015 season passes as well as some fantastic deals for current season pass holders who renew before November 2nd.

Bring a friend for $19.99, over labor day weekend! That's going to be a busy weekend in the park!

Can't believe it's already almost time for Halloween Haunt!

I am well aware. The front page goes to the news feeds and what not. It's common to have duplicate threads in this instance.

When Kings Island does open for the season, they should have Dollar days a lot to get people to come into the park. Maybe they could do front of the line passes for a dollar.

No, the park will be busy enough with everyone wanting to do something.  May have to limit the amount of people in the park.

So if it comes to that, will they limit the general public, passholders, or both?

I say limit the amount of cars in the parking lot

All the KY, IN and ichigan foreigners could 14-day quarantine in Aurora.

What about the trucks and busses?

That's where it gets tricky. I'd say focus on the actual spaces. I'd be interested to see how many people they can allow in the parking lot to justify the park being open.

To be honest, I'm struggling to see how limiting the amount of people in the park will help. You will still be close to people in the queue line, you will still be close to people in line for food. I feel like limiting the amount of people in the park per day sounds like a good idea but is a bandaide approach to prevent the actual spread.
