I was wondering what is upstairs of the two towers at the gate? Maybe just a façade,,,?

I am referring to the Auto Entrance at Coney Island....

There are probably other rooms up there but the main room up there is the International Restaurant (or perhaps International Street Restaurant). The stairs are to the left as you walk through the gates, going into the park, through the closed glass doors.. I believe it is only used for special events, however.

Check what section this is posted in. He is probably referring to Coney Island, not Kings Island.

Ah. That explains my confusion with the question. My bad.

Air space, the left side is a security post and the right side is the parking office. There is no upstairs, just open air space.

Thank you...always wondered. We did some exploring years ago when we opened the LaRosas in the old gift shop...never made it in the gate though.

There is however an "upstairs" on the west side of the riverboat entrance (note to anyone who's wondering: I got this photo by sticking my camera through the gate and pointing it straight up. No rules were broken and no trespassing was done).
