Millionth Banshee Rider!

Don, what's your split between Red and Blue Racer? Do you have a preference? And why does Blue always seem to win!?!

Don't have a split per color because each side used to have both colors but more than 70 percent of my 12,001 rides on The Racer have come on what is now the blue side.

Rode Blue on Tuesday and lost.

I think I can count on my hands the number of times I've seen the red side win this season.

I went on the red side of Rebel Yell at Kings Dominion and the blue side still won. Went over and got on the blue side and got evacuated!

Dunno about the whole Helbig vs Norris deal, I mean Norris has the man beard that Bald Eagles nest in. Helbig has quite the baby face as per grooming guidelines :P

But if you want a good one :P

Don Helbig was bitten by a Diamondback, and after three long excruciating days, the snake died

You're welcome

If you ride The Racer backwards, wouldn't that technically take a ride off your count? Doesn't it work that way? :)

How do you determine exactly who is the 1,000,000th Racer rider?

Supposing the previous count is 999,991 or whatever, and all thirty (or fifteen) gates are opened at once...

Geez, I sure didn't have my wits with me last night...

I think I was trying to ask about the 100 millionth Racer rider. If both sides are in operation, would the count alternate between sides? Blue and red first rows, followed by blue and red second rows...ending with the last rows?

So, for instance if the count needed 4 riders to reach the magic number, does Red/unload side/front-row get the pick? And the 5th rider is Blue/unload side/second-row?

Or maybe whichever side wins the race starts the count and numbers 1-30 are on the winning side?

We have a plan in place as guests approach the station the day of the milestone ride so we'll know exactly who the 100-millionth rider on The Racer is.

Don, are you able to elaborate on how close you are to 100-million?

I do wonder what would happen if a milestone rider really didn't want publicity. Presumably there are visitors who would not want their name and picture all over the local news.

Presumably, it would not be legal to physically force the person to hand over their name and pose for the photo with the sign in their hand. So if the person says no and walks away, I don't think there's anything the park could do about it.

According to your ticket and/or pass holder agreement Kings Island can use your image for promotional or marketing purposes.

With that being said, I'm sure that if the person didn't want to have their picture taken they wouldn't do it.

Plus those signs at the front of the park stating you may be filmed and photographed from this point forward.

So? If someone doesn't want to participate, all kinds of unpredictable, even ugly, things could happen. Imagine it's a Howard Hughes type. Or the Chairman and CEO of Six Flags.

...or, well, no. Not really, no.

:P

It kind of scares me YOU knew what that was.

Slide rules, too?

1. Be careful on the stairs.

2. One at a time.

3. Short pants and dresses are discouraged.

4. Ladder is up only.
