Anyone at the park want to share an update on wait times? Still debating...

Made it here later than planned. In an hour, I rode Drop Tower, The Bat and Banshee. Banshee was a 20ish minute wait and Drop Tower was a one drop wait. Delirium looked to be a 2 cycle wait.

In the random discussion thread in off topic, it is said the park is jam-packed and that Mr. Don Helbig is collecting parking tolls.

So what tipped off all the people that if they go to Kings Island today, they will have a chance to meet Don Helbig?

...only if they are in the select lane!

Wow.... Banshee operations are about as slow this morning as I've ever witnesses before.... Ouch.

And current wait times?

Much more crowded than yesterday. Waited 20 for Beast and The Bat is about 45 minutes!

I am actually surprised the park is even a little crowded....guess I thought with schools starting it would be dead...silly me! Going to take the kiddos tomorrow and hoping for a low crowd[emoji16] I'll report back here lol

It's weird. Monday was completely dead. We walked on most everything but Firehawk and Flight of Fear. Yesterday, even Racer had a 10 minute wait.

There was inclement weather in the area on Monday. At KI, this tends to be a huge factor in attendance.

That didn't hit till about 6. It was beautiful aside from a 2pm, 6 minute rain.

Forecast weather affects attendance whether it actually hits the park or not. Days with scattered storms can be great days to visit.

Lots of schools around Kings Island don't go back until next week, so I'd expect late next week to be very light crowds.

Most of the Cincinnati area schools go back the day Kings Island stops daily operation.

I've ridden Diamondstack twice today each with about a 10 minute wait. I've waited longer for my food at Taco Shack than any ride here today. ..but that's nothing unusual. Food is bland and the guy tried to sell me a souvenir cup....as I'm filling mine up! And when I asked the cashier if they had any trays: "I don't think we do those anymore or they all dirty."

We are planning a trip for tomorrow. Probably half dry side/half wet side. What kind of crowd do you think I can anticipate? Last time we went to Soak City it was a complete nightmare with a half hour wait for the dang bathrooms and over an hour for each slide. Definitely don't want to get in a situation like that again.

If last Friday is an indication (when I last went), lines were less than a 2-3 cycle wait from park open through about early-mid afternoon (Racer had only one side open, so it took about 15 mins). Get there for early rides, knock out a bunch of rides then head over to Soak City as the rest of the late afternoon-evening crowds congregate.

How are the lines today? Debating going for 3 hours after work.

I was there today from about 9-2, mostly in Planet Snoopy and Soak City. Lines were pretty short at both and crowds weren't bad at all. I definitely think that a lot of local school going back this week helped the crowds! Longest I waited was for food! Lol

Haha...it's ok I like to know details too [emoji6] I waited at the main food place in Soak City...the name escapes me. But there were 3 people in line and I waited like 15 minutes lol

Was it Coconut Cove Cafe? Or was it a different one? During the few times I've been to Soak City it looks like the "main" eatery. I could be wrong, though.

Possibly....the only place to get food in Soak City besides subway and the little hot dog cart as far as I know...

There's a hot dog place in Soak City too. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

I have a dining plan on two of our passes , I got a bacon cheeseburger and a tender basket. Its adjacent to Larosa's.....And they were slow as.....
