Anyone know if the construction cam is sitting on an actual footer (footing)? It's sitting at just about where the incline for the Immelman begins.

It's attached to the structure for Hyena Falls. I'm thinking it's also zoomed in pretty far.

I hope they zoom out at some point - otherwise we won't be able to see the construction of the Immelman or the vertical loop.

I am very glad to see a one of a kind coaster come to Holiday World! I plan on riding 'Thunderbird' next year. This will be a great addition, indeed.

Even though I am about the furthest thing from a fan, or even slightly happy about, the new Administration at the park, I am actually planning our move to Colorado around HW opening day for this ride.

Even though the POV looks a bit underwhelming (yes, I do know POVs can be VERY misleading at times), you have never once steered me wrong on your advice regarding coasters, especially classics. Any tips regarding "magic seats" like Vortex's 5-1, to enhance/maximize ride experience?

I just hope they've kept up the maintenance. The back seat is glorious.

I was lucky enough to ride Denver's Lakeside Cyclone around 8 years ago.

I really like the the way the layout starts out twisterish and then breaks out into out and back mode for the finale.

A true classic, from the architecture of the station to the original trains.

Don't judge the park, or the Lakeside Cyclone, until you've experienced both at night. The Whip was a delightful surprise.

Speaking of Denver, I also enjoyed Twister II at Elitch Gardens. Good size, great tunnel, and overall much better than I expected.

Do I see footers (footings) poured for the station?

I am excited for this addition, and perhaps more excited simply to be excited about visiting Holiday World again. I love the place but the whole legal battle was very off putting to me and I have not nor do I plan to visit this season. I have only visited once since all that drama went down, Holiwood Nights 2012. I had a great time as usual but the park was very much missing something without Pat and Dan. I am also very happy to see the next generation of Kochs becoming more involved in leadership at Holiday World. I am sure the future will be bright and I hope the family can eventually resolve all their differences.

The first supports are up! Looks like the launch portion of the track is being installed first.

Holiday World plans on releasing the Scoring music featured in the Announcement video of Thunderbird within the next week!

Work has resumed on the roof of the flywheel building.

Construction of the station is ongoing. Lots of lifting!

First piece of launch track is being installed.

First piece of track is being Lowered ATM.

This puts Holiday World to the next level of theme parks.

New supports are up this morning for the brake run behind the station. This thing is coming up quickly.

More track being installed! This appears to be the brake run.

For those interested, it looks like they are about to lift a huge section of brake run track onto the supports.

Was at the park this past Sunday and wow things have changed there since July 2012.

There are tons of track pieces laying around.

Edit-The parks tagline states "The NATION'S First Launched Wing Coaster" not World's.
