Gold Pass question

Featured Replies

I bought a Gold Pass last week and I plan on going to the park next Sunday. My pass has not been processed yet and I plan on getting it done then. Will I still be able to get free parking if I show my voucher in the parking lot?

Yes, they will scan your voucher for parking. If for any reason they are unable to do so, pay the regular fee at tolls and Guest Services should be able to refund it once you show them your processed pass and parking receipt.

I should add that that applies assuming that this is your first visit to the park. If you have already been to the park once, using the unprocessed pass for admission, then they probably will not be able to scan your voucher. You would have to go the route of paying and getting a refund from Guest Services, as I described above.

Any ticket window does the parking refunds, but as long as your voucher hasn't been scanned at the tolls already once it should work.

I suspected that ticket windows could do parking refunds, but wasn't sure, so I just said GR to be safe. But that's good to know.
