New Markings at Cedar Point

Featured Replies

Sigh..this is Tony usually making something out of nothing..

So many markings left over from off season work and whatnot, and work done during the season. Just calm down & let the season roll along, you'll start getting hints & leaks eventually

^My thoughts exactly. I realize that this could turn out to be nothing, but I have a feeling that this marking is in the Cedars dorm's parking lot.

Tony just tweeted something very interesting. Could this be the start of a large 2015 project?

Hmm... Maybe. I would have to say no, for two reasons.

1. Gatekeeper was built just one year ago.

2. It is a marking on concrete. Don't get too excited. Probably just repairing pavement, or leftover marks from Gemini Midway Construction.

At the PointBuzz Off Season Tour, Tony did say how big things are coming to the park, and that everyone will want to go to next year's tour. Plus there's the rumored Blue Streak midway revamp/Celebration Plaza Expansion that includes the demo of Cedars Dorms. I know GK was just 2 years ago, but I have feeling that the park has some major plans for 2015.

As TDE said above, Tony has a tendency to make a lot out of nothing. I wouldn't think too much of that comment. Perhaps everyone will want to be on it because they can see the latest on the repainting of (insert ride that needs painted).
