This sculpture by Gavin Bruce Creative will be placed at Kings Islandon May 9th. This is a sculpture dedicated to Gabriel Taylor, who had the wonderful opportunity to be A Kid Again at Kings Island before losing his battle with bone cancer at age 6. Fund raisers such as "Scream for A Kid Again" and the Diamondback first rider auction allowed Gabriel to enjoy such things as visiting Kings Island, the Cincinnati Zoo, or Reds games to, for just a brief time, forget about his illness and be a kid again.

This statue will be unveiled on May 9th at 2:00p at the entrance to Planet Snoopy - near Charlie Brown's Wind Up.

I was hoping this would be unveiled later in the day. I would love for my daughter to meet the artist. I think this will be a beautiful addition for the park and for A Kid Again.

Unfortunately we did not make it to the unveiling, but had the privilege of speaking to the artist, Gavin Bruce. What a nice guy.
