I know that the hours of operation are listed on the KI website, but is that also the time that the rides begin running operating?

It has been 10+ years since I last visited and I seem to remember the park opening at a certain time and the rides starting 1 hour later.

    They've changed it from way back when. The times listed on the website are the time the rides start. Gold & Platinum season passholders can get on Banshee a half hour earlier than the listed times.

    Yes, the hours on the website are the hours for rides for the general public. Typically, the parking lot opens 90 minutes before rides (so usually 8:30 on a 10am opening) and the gates open 30 minutes before rides (9:30 on a 10am opening), with those who do not have a Gold or Platinum season pass being confined to the area in front of the fountains until the actual opening time.
