I believe they are expecting a early June opening.

It's the Larosa's Pizza wagon. It's been there since opening day. I'm beginning to believe that it has been strategically placed to "cover" the main entrance....for a while.

I have a pic from the 18th and 25th of April and its not there. Maybe its Drop Tower parts in a Larosa's Pizza wagon........its a distraction 8:)

That truck has been there on my visits, April 19th, 20th, and 26th.

Don! I'm calling you out!! It's been 3 weeks with no Drop Tower and the park hasn't told us when to expect it to be up and going?!

That would be Kings Islands food truck.

Edit: Beaten to it.

I can confirm that as of today, Drop Tower's drive/control/whatever box does have the '14 sticker on the side, so it appears to be certified for this season.

So either it's close to opening or they're having issues.

Unless one or the other (or something else) has been confirmed already.

Any update or estimate on opening from this weekend? I might break down and buy a pass to visit this week; would really really love to catch a ride on one of my favorite Drop Towers this week..

The bad thing about having an overseas ride company is that most of the parts have to be made and shipped from there. Millie Force had to have one brought over after the park had a part made that failed.

Nothing is wrong with Invertigo. It's probably down for mechanical Issues.

Invertigo seems to be down more and more over the last 4 years.

Probably just has a Stinger...

I heard Drop Tower is not excepted to reopen until sometime in June.

They are ordering new squirrels to spin in the wheels that lift the car to the top of the tower.....

(aside: I wouldn't mind a restraint system on Drop Tower similar to Banshee, if that's not too much to ask....Yes I know......too much to ask .)

Then have you tired yelling at a squirrel? Well if not, the squirrel will usually run away. So Banshee is doing her job!

Which is also being counterproductive at the same time...

Has anyone also noticed a similar looking ride to Drop Tower is closed? WindSeeker has also been closed since opening day. Do you think maybe its a high wind issue or something dealing with altitude?

^ It has to do with Wind. It's been VERY windy these past few months in Ohio.
