What's so fantastic about the place?

The people.

The fantastic cheese coneys.

The people.

The setting.

The people.

Incredible frozen custard.

The people.

The prices.

The people.

Midwest courtesy, warmth and friendliness.

The people.

Putz's makes me happy.

Very happy.

Good food.

Good times.

Good people.

Worth a drive from Washington, DC.

I may go next week.

Looks like something we have here in Indy. Well sort of Indy. But this place is amazing. I love their deep fried pickles!

There's so many of these little mom and pop ice cream shops scattered throughout the Midwest...I've been to many. Each unique in their own light. Many worth the trip from afar.

Still glad this season is upon us.

There's Whipty Do over by where I live - never been there, but it looks a lot like this. They have blue ice cream!

Whipty-Do does in fact have the blue ice cream that KI sells. So for all you blue ice cream fanatics (or lovers of ice cream in general), check it out! Plus, its close to KI. It's only 3-4 miles away on US 22 just South of KI in Maineville. For the record, I grew up near Putz's and Zip-Dip and love them both, so hopefully you all will appreciate Whipty-Do as well!

I haven't made it to Zip Dip yet. I've been to Putz's, Gold Top Dairy Bar (Blue Rock near Colerain) and Eat n Treat (Blue Rock and Cheviot). I also went to Whipty Do once a couple years ago.

One of my favorites for years and years now! Haven't made it down yet this year, hopefully soon though.

I really should hit Putz's more often considering it's 5 minutes from my house.
