April 9, 201412 yr I'm sorry if there is a topic on this already! I searched and could not find an answer. I plan to start a payment plan for my platinum passes and I was wonder if they can be used during the time you are on the plan or do you need to wait till the plan finishes.
April 9, 201412 yr I'm using the payment plan and I can use my pass while I'm paying for it. It might have changed though. Your best bet is to contact the park.
April 9, 201412 yr IT would just be odd for them to have the 6 month payment plan available now and you not be able to use it. 6 months from now will be October.
April 10, 201412 yr I'm trying to look at prices for Gold and Platinum passes, but it's only listing prices for single and two days prices.. What are the prices?
April 10, 201412 yr ^ Pass prices are now apparently available only inside the ticket store, which doesn't work on all devices.Current adult prices: Gold (4+): $109.50 Gold (renewal): $99 Gold: $117 Platinum (renewal): $186 Platinum: $192
April 10, 201412 yr You use your passes during the season while the payments are taken from your account once a month. I used it last season, it was very convenient.
April 10, 201412 yr But if you miss a payment or your card is declined then your pass will be inactivated until payment is made.
April 10, 201412 yr For anyone who has experience with this, if you upgrade from a gold pass to a platinum, does it go by the renewal price or the new pass price?
April 10, 201412 yr For anyone who has experience with this, if you upgrade from a gold pass to a platinum, does it go by the renewal price or the new pass price? if you decide to upgrade while on the payment plan, you would have to pay the full difference in price between the gold and platinum and continue paying the gold payment pl.n price as obligated to your online agreement. But if not on the payment plan, then it would be the price difference between a new platinum pass, and you must surrender your gold pass to receive the platinum.
April 10, 201412 yr For anyone who has experience with this, if you upgrade from a gold pass to a platinum, does it go by the renewal price or the new pass price? You pay the difference between what you actually paid for the Gold Pass and the current price for a new, not renewal, Platinum Pass.

You pay the difference between what you actually paid for the Gold Pass and the current price for a new, not renewal, Platinum Pass. Actually, if your gold pass was renewed from the previous season, they should charge you the difference between what you paid to renew and the current renewal price. If they don't realize that your pass is a renewal, tell them. If your gold pass was not renewed from the previous season, you will not get a renewal price if you decide to upgrade.

That was not the case in 2011 when I upgraded my renewal Gold Pass to Platinum.

It is considered a new platinum pass.
April 10, 201412 yr if you didnt have a platinum pass last year you cannot receive the renewal rate. It is considered a new platinum pass. This isn't what Guest Services told me when I inquired about it previously. I was told that they do allow renewals (at the renewal price) at a different pass tier, though it cannot be done online. Policies change, though, so I could very well be wrong. Cedar Fair parks' season pass policies & procedures can be more than a little confusing.

April 10, 201412 yr Indeed. Nor are they uniformly applied. I just hope my renewed Kings Island Platinum Pass works, especially in the Carolinas and at Kings Dominion. Terp, who in more than 25 years of Six Flags season passes, has yet to have the first problem with any of them...Cedar Fair, on the other hand...
July 6, 20197 yr One of my family member was planning on going with us to king island and then back out at the last moment.. i wanted to see if i could switch another person to there card and remove them off once we make it up to king island. I already paid for the passes.
August 14, 20233 yr If I miss a payment and pay it 3 days late. Will I need to pay the entire pass price?
