April 3, 201412 yr I was wondering when Kings Island opened for ERT this year? My sister said it was an hour early (9am) but I thought I kept seeing 9:30am like 2013 season.
April 3, 201412 yr A half an hour before the scheduled opening for the general public. I.e. If the park opens at 10, ERT is 9:30. If it opens at 12, ERT is at 11:30. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 3, 201412 yr Only Banshee has been officially announced. I'd bet there'll be at least one more major attraction, but nothing for sure yet.
April 3, 201412 yr If I had to guess I'd say it's going to be other attractions in Action Zone for ERT but that's just my guess.
April 3, 201412 yr Until people complain that Diamondback isn't included and it gets changed like in 2011... -homestar92, still angry about how short lived Vortex ERT was...
April 3, 201412 yr I would hope they would alternate rides like Action Zone & rivertown. Action Zone and Rivertown are..... yadda, yadda, yadda... You get the gist.
April 3, 201412 yr I would hope they would alternate rides like Action Zone & rivertown. Action Zone and Rivertown are..... yadda, yadda, yadda... You get the gist. Actually, Rivertown and Action Zone aren't registered trademarks of Cedar Fair, but they should still be capitalized anyways because they're proper nouns.
April 3, 201412 yr Rivertown and Action Zone aren't registered trademarks of Cedar Fair, but they should still be capitalized anyways because they're proper nouns. Those definitely are trademarks, which should be used properly, even though they are not registered trademarks.
April 3, 201412 yr One is registered, the other isn't...or Maybe.
April 3, 201412 yr Author Most likely the ERT rides would be (Possibly) Invertigo, Delirium, The Beast, Diamondback and Banshee (Confirmed)
April 3, 201412 yr One is registered, the other isn't...or Maybe. Thanks for that link.Any distinctive name, symbol, or word is designated as trademarked with the symbol TM...however I've never seen any park area with that symbol next to the name, whether it be on the map or a sign. In order for a name to be a trademark, does the TM symbol need to be next to the name?
April 3, 201412 yr I bet that The Bat will be part of ERT since it is a "new" attraction. Just a guess though.
April 3, 201412 yr Or a © symbol. No, that's for indicating copyright, which is a completely different concept from trademarks.
April 3, 201412 yr I bet that The Bat will be part of ERT since it is a "new" attraction. Just a guess though. ERT I doubt it. Last year was almost walk on everytime I rode it. You never know though.
April 3, 201412 yr It's possible that there might not be a lot of people in line for The Bat this season, but I think the rebranding and location next to Banshee will help the popularity of the ride.
April 3, 201412 yr I'd bet Invertigo or Delirium will be chosen along side Banshee. Also, looks like the kiddies will get their turn at early riding too, this year.https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/451841222055698432

In order for a name to be a trademark, does the TM symbol need to be next to the name? It is not necessary that a trademark be registered, nor that TM be used beside it. Both are methods of demonstrating the user claims a trademark, but such visible indication is not necessarily necessary. April 3, 201412 yr Author Let's not go off topic to try figuring out if a non-trademarked name is to be capitalized. If it's a name, it's capitalized. Simple as that. Now let's talk about ERT, not Trademarks.
April 4, 201412 yr Sorry I Got Everyone Off-Topic About Trademark Laws, Next Time I Will Make Sure To Use My Shift Key For Places Of Interest
April 4, 201412 yr Sorry I Got Everyone Off-Topic About Trademark Laws, Next Time I Will Make Sure To Use My Shift Key For Places Of Interest Please don't overuse it, however. Capitalizing every single word in a sentence is unnecessary.
April 7, 201412 yr My guess would be Banshee and DB going ERT all season, perhaps other coasters in a rotation throughout the season.
April 8, 201412 yr Probably not Diamondback..again:https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/451841222055698432
