No surprise here! Unfortunately Don spelled the name of the ride wrong!

Probably uploaded via Mobile, which may have caused an Autocorrect. Anyways, That's interesting and all... I'm more interested in what's going on in front of it, where the target used to be, it looks like they might be adding something else there.

I'm hoping this means they'll bring back the colored lights it used to have during the first few years it opened.

I like the new paint. I really can't wait to see this whole area between Banshee, The Bat, this new paint, and possibly some other mystery in the Action Zone Circle.

I can't decide if they're painting it all to the white or if they're making it black and white striped.

I wonder if the rainbow lights will come back along the arch? The white would reflect the colors completely!

I was trying to decide that myself. Looks like they were careful to stop painting at the joint, so I'd guess that it is supposed to change color then.

Ah ha! I wasn't wrong. There is some fresh black on there...

*this post is in reference to another thread regarding Action Zone's "re theme".

The right side is completely painted now....Maybe it's glow in the dark paint....OOOOOh! O_O

Unfortunately, the coaster that needs it the most is once again left out. I would understand that The Racer can't be done due to finances and other reasons, but how many rides/coasters have been painted that are in a better shape? Just paint The Racer already!

I understand there are reasons. I'm just expressing what I and most others on this site want.

Its great to see Action Zone getting some much needed TLC. This part of the park has been looking pretty grim the last 5 years so its great to see that the area is receiving new paint and of course a new attraction ( and a lovely nod to the past with The Bat )

I'm getting more and more excited to go to the park this year! Action Zone will really be full of ACTION once again!

Also, I'd like to share that I too hope they reinstate the colored lights in EXtreme Skyflyer and Slingshot. I don't remember seeing that, but it sounds really cool. Does anyone have or know of any pictures that you could please share?

White does reflect gel lights well...blue and purple lights? Another fun upgrade to speculate!

I think they might be painting it a dark gray/black color. I think the white/light color we see them painting might be a primer coat. Originally, the left tower of the winch tower was painted white, and now only the base is. The towers were previously exposed galvanized steel with no paint, so the primer was probably a necessity in order for the finish coat of paint to stick to the structure.

I am excited to see all the fresh paint and ride the shiny new B&M that KI is getting. Just over a month more of waiting to go!

Ahhhh....the smell of fresh paint in the morning...

Wow they outsourced alot to this company. The Bat, Skyflyer, Bat Trains, etc..

Bet the company got good money this year from them, that's alot of supplies and man hours for sure!

Also they got dream shots I've been wanting to get for YEARS but never had a chance, jerks..
