June 2, 201412 yr Aside from the season long one which you could definitely use to your advantage, I think these are more about convenience than they are about money-saving. Which is fine. Some people want that. You'd have to be strategic and eat quite a bit more than most people would otherwise to save any kind of big money on these plans. Just my two cents.
June 2, 201412 yr I guess the Backyard BBQ wasn't a hit. The all day plan sounds good, BUT no drink. Looks like I'll grab a souvenir bottle for the 99¢ refills.
June 2, 201412 yr I guess the Backyard BBQ wasn't a hit. The all day plan sounds good, BUT no drink. Looks like I'll grab a souvenir bottle for the 99¢ refills. Precisely what they hoped!
June 2, 201412 yr I'll be trying the all day dining plan this Saturday, at CM they feed us, Sat/Sun I'll have to fend for myself.. Or I may go with friends to the Cafe..or Best Day Grill..or whatever the hell they renamed it this year.
June 2, 201412 yr Actually cafe isn't as bad anymore..finally decreased their profit margin thank you new CEO..only thing is now it has less seating and still crummy unhealthy options. I'm all for quick calories on a 12 hour day, but sometimes..man gimmie nutrients
June 2, 201412 yr Are non employees allowed to go to the Employee Cafe? I know when I worked at KI the Employee Cafe was only for Employees and they would check Employee ID's if you were in street clothes.
June 2, 201412 yr I'm going with CF employees and know many CP gold tags and lifers. Networking is more important than you think
June 2, 201412 yr That's cool I was just asking. Paramount did not allow such a thing when I worked at KI even if you went in with an employee. But that's cool.
June 3, 201412 yr How is this All Day Dining Plan tracked? I'm assuming a bracelet is scanned every transaction.
June 4, 201412 yr The Richard Kinzel Memorial Feast House...where a nickel gets you nuttin, honey. I'm stealing that.
June 4, 201412 yr And ten percent of the proceeds go to pay a former CEO and Chairman's laundry allowance.
June 4, 201412 yr I thought that was all part of the Causeway sign and the new sign by the security post where the walk of shame (Golds) was
June 4, 201412 yr There is a sign commemorating the Causeway as the Dick..Er.. Richard L Kinzel Causeway.. Yes the causeway is now named after a phallic..er Former CEO
June 4, 201412 yr And the parking fee, under him, included a toll for use of the causeway. Never mind you paid the "toll" even if you arrived by the "other" road.
June 4, 201412 yr ^ CP's website still mentions that parking includes a $0.50 causeway toll. If you enter to drop someone off, you'd be refunded $14.50 of your $15 parking fee. It was my understanding that the segregated toll was kept for legal purposes. I believe that the toll has been there since the causeway was constructed.
June 4, 201412 yr If you enter to drop someone off, you'd be refunded $14.50 of your $15 parking fee. Where is this on the website? I can't find it in the FAQ.
June 4, 201412 yr ^ https://www.cedarpoint.com/plan-a-visit/frequently-asked-questions See "What is the cost of parking".
June 4, 201412 yr ^ Which reads: The daily parking fee is $15 for cars and motorcycles. For oversized vehicles such as campers, trailers, trucks, etc., the daily parking fee is $20. (Daily parking fees include a $.50 toll charge). We also offer Preferred Parking for $25 per car. Prefered Parking gives you the closest and most convenient location in our lot! Where does it say that you can get a $14.50 refund if you enter just to drop someone off? And how would one go about getting that refund?
June 4, 201412 yr They aren't going to put things like that on the website. They'd doubtless prefer no one asked for the refund.
July 7, 201412 yr https://twitter.com/TonyClarkCP/status/486205421280317440 All day and season pass dining plans now include Midway Market.
