What was your Last ride?

Featured Replies

I rode The Beast on Saturday night at approximately 1:15 am. It was the perfect ride to end on. This was also the first time in four years I didn't make it to the park on the last operating day.

You technically did. As it was 1:15 AM, the calendar had rolled over into the next day.

And you know what I meant;)

I seen the last Ed Alonzo show. The rides will DEFINITELY be there next season. Even though it has been speculated that he may return for haunt, there is no guarantee at this point. Got autographs

I was on the last Diamondback train of the season with my daughter and Gary Coleman too. I talked to him for a minute, I believe he said it was his 10,110th ride.

Last ride of the season for me was I believe the second to last train on The Beast, back row, only way to close out a season at Kings Island.

mine was The Beast. would've been front row, but they said they were only sending two more trains and there were four people ahead of me, so I had 2-1. when i was sitting in my seat, they said they were sending two more trains, it made me mad, but I didn't say anything. but the person that was behind me in line for front row stood up and was basically yelling at them because she didn't get "her spot." that made me even more mad, since she was behind me. but besides all of that, it was a nice last ride.

The Beast. Last public train ride for the 2013 season. Was torn between that and Diamondback. Either way is a great way to end the year.

I was on what was supposed to be Vortex's last train of the year, but they didn't block off the queue in time so there were a few people that had gotten in line after the gates had closed. So my ride ended up being the second to last train of the season for the 2nd Closing Day in a row!

In a way, I was still on Vortex's "last" train of the year...before/at 7:00pm.....

The Beast for me, got off the ride at 7:01 lol. But I Rode Vortex 7 times on Closing day lol! It's going to be a long winter!

The Bat was my last ride.

Mine was a night ride on The Beast on 10/26. Best way to cap off a season of rides there.

Last KI ride: Flight Deck

Last ride of the season overall: CP & LE R.R. Went back into the park just for Maverick (which had been down previously) and it was down yet again. I have still never had the opportunity to ride Maverick. So we hopped on the train and enjoyed the Haunt decor instead.

I want to say Raptor, But it may have been The Legend

Kind of hard to confuse the two isn't it, with them being 400 miles apart and all? :P

My last ride of KI's season was the KIC train on The Beast, sitting right next to LoraX. But my last ride of the year is to be determined next weekend at Dollywood, and will more than likely be on my #1 woodie, Thunderhead, as it has been for the past few years.

Woodstock Express with my 5 year old daughter on Sunday. She wanted to ride Skyflyer Xtreme and just made the height requirement but Momma said not till next season. The girl has no fear of rides, next year will be exciting with a new line up of coasters and rides waiting for her! I can't wait either. :P

I love Dollywood. I would love to go there during the holidays. It would be a great place to do a meet up. :) (not that I can afford it at this time, but it would be a blast!)

Mine was Flight Deck and not planned. The wife and I went to Haunt on the 19th and it was the only thing that didn't have a huge line. Then we were going to go on closing day, but she ended up getting sick. So at least I did get 1 last ride under the Flight Deck moniker.

Finished the season with front row on Diamondback and next season front row on Banshee for 2014!

Although we were scolded for being late to meet up at star bucks afterward, it was well worth it.

That was a great day.
