Flat rides

Featured Replies

Wasn't a big fan of the Crypt(mostly due to themeing) but this could be interesting....you can get a 2 for 1- thrill and water ride!

  • How about they let the eagles soar once again at Kings Island! <a href="http://s362.photobucket.com/user/x241/media/image-12.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i362.photobucket.com

  • Still waiting for a Giant Wheel at KI. Maybe in the new Action Zone or in Coney Mall

Definitely! Would fit in the Crypt building and does not have a minimum height requirement.

Kings Island definitely needs just one more flat ride - I would love a Screamin' Swing like Skyhawk at CP, maybe in place of The Crypt's building (is there enough room?). I would get rid of one haunt taking up a giant building for an awesome flat.

If it could fit inside, it likely couldn't swing.

I think the walkway between International Showplace, Diamondback, and Back Lot Stunt Coaster could use 2-3 flat rides.. It's empty. And then maybe we could get some smoothies once again from that abandoned vendor.

Yea KI can use a Ferris wheel, seeing CP's at night is like looking at a computer screensaver, maybe a skyhawk type ride.

I think it would be a great idea for a Giant Wheel, especially with the ability to have a lot of color changes. Could look really neat at night in Action Zone.

ouch, that megaspin ride looks like a pain in the shoulder! i am personally not up for any carnival style rides except for the top scan, that is a pretty decent ride.

huss

fly away

topple tower-if we can get it to work lol

the Delirium prototype looks cool

the tallest s&s screamin swing would be cool.

Sorry, I meant destroy The Crypt's building and put the Screamin' Swing on the land there.

This is my favorite flat ride of all time. I know this is not a coaster, but this is what my Uncle talked me into (forced) riding as a young child.

Kings Island needs to buy one of these classic machines and put it at Coney Mall.

It would be nice for KI to get just one more classic midway ride. They are cheap and fun for families.

Thunderbeast1968: Bayern Curve. And KI had one. So did Cedar Point

I know that, sorry that I didn't state that in my last post. You know, they could take out the WindSeeker thingy (doesn't work well anyway) and put the Bayern Kurve in it's place

Or in front of the Festhouse by the Octoberfest lake! I've always been partial to light shows and lakes.

How about where Slingshot is today....oh wait....

I wish there was a flat that did what shake rattle and roll did... but without the upward tilting arms./// a flat that did what the scrambler did.. but with swinging bobs.

Will this do?

The Huss ride "Jump" looks fun. Also, I don't know if a water slide qualifies as a "flat ride", but i think a water coaster like the one they have at Schlitterbahn would be a great addition to Soak City.

Great Advencha had a HUSS Jump. It was down far more than it was up. HUSS does not have the best reputation for reliability these days, as Dollywood recently learned.

It would be awesome if we got a huss enterprise... Have it painted red and silver with it being named cyclone.

I'm not too much of a fan seeing huss rides in the future. I love the rides themselves don't get me wrong...however replacement parts and maintenance are nightmares..if they fixed that side of their reliability that'd be awesome

  • 1 month later...

Too bad Skylab and Flight Commander weren't more reliable. Those were 2 fantastic flats.
