^ I believe the gate and posts have been there for awhile but they are not easily noticed all the time.

We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

Also looks like some sort of walkway behind the fencing between Slingshot and Banshee. Maybe part of the reason Don stated that Banshee will offer plenty of photo opportunities.

^ I'm guessing that that is more likely a private road for maintenance vehicles that is or will be connected to the road that runs under Adventure Express's queue and exit.

^^ I agree there appears to be some type of concrete slab in that area but I doubt it's a walkway since they just erected a fence between the ice cream shop and the previously built fence around the drop before the lift hill loop.

My guess is a Maint Access road for the ride. They already put concrete near the "roads" they already have to reinforce the hill, this is probably all related to it.

It may just be some weird lighting illusions, but check out The Bat cam. It looks like part of the rails are missing/damaged.

I apologize, I just realized the rail replacement was being discussed a few pages back. There have been a lot of posts over the past few days.

My gut feeling is that circle is where the lockers will be located.

if you look closely, they have poured a little square of concrete on the right side of the clothing and souvenir store. That is my guess as to where the lockers will be.

^That hardly looks like enough room for lockers to accommodate a full Banshee queue.

I don't think they need much room for lockers. They usually come on a first come first serve basis. Also, remember that there will be many passenger who will not need to place their things in lockers, or just don't wanna pay for them. It crazy to see where people leave their stuff when they get denied entry to the line because they have a bag and they don't wanna pay for a locker. Some of them just don't care that their bag is laying out in the open and others get too excited about the ride to realize that the place they hid their bag in is not discreet at all even though they thought it was (i.e. hiding a bag behind one of Gatekeeper's wings in the entry plaza).

There are multiple locker locations throughout the park.

Not everybody uses the same one.

Everybody riding Banshee and carrying loose articles will need a locker. I'm not going to pull numbers out of nowhere, but my guess is that will be a lot of people. The lockers over by Firehawk sometimes aren't enough to accommodate people for just that ride, which is in an isolated area that sees very little traffic flow. The amount of people trying to ride Banshee vs. the amount of people trying to ride Firehawk likely won't be a very close ratio, and Action Zone will likely be very densely crowded area. I will be willing to bet that the run out of lockers near Banshee on multiple occasions throughout the season.

All I know is that my days of having a bag will need to cease. Wallet, keys, and phone, if I'm meeting up with people, will be all I'll need to bring with me. An umbrella will need to be replaced with a poncho.

My camera fits in my pocket, and is water proof if I plan on taking photographs.

If you wear glasses, will they hold glasses for you while you ride? I know about the bands you can buy or contacts.

LoraX, they usually tell you to either stuff them down you shirt or partially put them in your pocket. If they have small loose article bins like Gatekeeper, you can put them there.

Thanks. I was presuming that was the case. I think the cargo pants will work for glasses and phone.

I really do not like fanny packs. We are really working on condensing things. I will have to hold her glasses for my daughter.

I have to wear sunglasses religiously because I have sensitive eyes, but I have a pair with a sunglasses strap :) though I need to find them again. I think they are in the van. If not I will have to buy another strap.

I only need glasses when I drive at night.

So my glasses will stay in my car.

Wallet, key (I'm only taking my car key and that will be tied to my ankle), and cell phone.

I wish they didn't cut down all the trees that were over by Banshee and Xtreme Skyflyer. :(

Buy the strap. Probably much safer for the glasses being strapped to your head than getting knocked around in your pocket, or getting knock to the ground by a careless person.

I know I paid too much for my glasses just to break them or loose them at a park.

Just enough daylight to be able to see the new lights installed around the Banshee station / plaza area......

It also looks as if something was installed / planted in the ground between Slingshot and Banshee......Trees?

I think we determined that they were small evergreens.

There is a cement truck at the base of the first dive loop and fence is being installed. Wonder what else is going on there?

Maybe that new concrete is a new smoking area. Which would be a big improvement for a lot of you since it's not on the main path. I know it's most likely not but it was a good idea in my head.
