Banshee Construction Progress

I never heard if we were permitted to bring a guest with us to media day. A spouse or a child?

I apologize if already mentioned.

Only those with current memberships to the approved coaster clubs are allowed to attend.

So basically.....no guest unless they have a current membership.

Everyone will have had to have RSVP'd and present a valid membership card at check-in for access into the park on media day. No exceptions will be made for those without a valid membership card.

We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

I have RSVP and have a valid Coaster Crew membership. Thank you for your response.

I'm wondering if the bottoms of the drops in the valleys will get the gravel/fence treatment.

yes. they will.

I just want to know, Where are you hearing all these "Rumors"?

looks like i've been correct so far. Anyways, if you look closely on the webcam, you can see the fences going up on the second half of the ride down in the ravine.

I still can't tell what they are doing with that circle, but they are making quite a bit of progress!!!

it looks like white pipes coming up out of the ground at the very bottom of one of those half moon looking configurations. could those be water elements?

Or poles for shade covers like in Diamondback's or Firehawk's que line.

yep. that certainly is a possibility.

I believe I saw a train transferring out of the storage shed to the station! It's a bit hard to see though and it was for only one refresh of the cam.

Are those gravestones i see at the bottom of the dive loop? The side closer to Delirium.

Looking at the Fox 19 webcam hour-lapse.. I believe two trains have been put on.

One in station one right behind it.

or..

A test could've happened. With Fox's cam doing a refresh every 5 minutes, I could be seeing the same train that went around once and I wouldn't've been able to see it on the regular circuit.

Davidw's time lapse shows no test run.

Sorry to double post, just skimmed through the last hour, so far just looks like transfer track movements, that's about it, no evidence of anything else yet guys, keep ya posted.

Yes, they are for the ride entrance area. Here's a link to Kings Island's instagram. http://instagram.com/p/lS7huMuON1/

That looks like it is closer to the vertical loop. I was referring to the structures that pretty much right under the dive loop.

did anyone think of the fact they may do the first test after dark? I mean, the announcement was at night, and the whole premise of the ride goes along with it

I'm sure a lot of us have thought that. That's why people have been watching the cams and posting pictures of Banshee at night as well.

But I don't think they would test it first at night as part of marketing. Think about it, what part of the day will Banshee give the most rides. During the day when the sun is out. She may only give night rides for two hours out of the twelve the park is open.

If I wasn't at work and had nothing better to do I would drive to the church parking lot across the street and spend all day staring at it through my zoom lens lol

The queue line won't be out that far, in the middle of Action Zone.

They may test at night so we can't see it though..but I doubt it because first cycle they're ganna want to watch the ride go through lol

I'm pretty sure Tatsu did most of its testing at night to avoid the enthusiasts. At least that's what I got from the Discovery Channel documentary I watched on it.

another thought.... could that circle for the Banshee sign at the entrance go where the concrete circle is?

It's a possibility.

Two things that could be happening:

A: They are moving the train back and forth between the station and transfer.

B: The train is indeed making complete cycles, and b=we are only seeing it as it is entering the station due to the time laps of the web cam.
