We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

It looks like they've removed all the tinted concrete, and have begun filling it with something. I really am not sure what they are doing for sure.

Maybe they are moving the plaza for Banshee there. I mean as people say renderings are not always final.

I would hope they wouldn't put the lockers right in the middle. But it's definitely a possibility. I would imagine they would go a little closer to the bathrooms. Well that's just my guess.

Stashua: I would think it's pretty silly to put the plaza in the middle of the midway when the ride's entrance is so far away.

TB: I could understand where you're going with it, and I wouldn't necessarily be mad with this idea, but I feel like the lockers would be best placed by the entrance of Banshee since the lockers are intended for the ride.

Crews are now starting to arrive at the Banshee construction site......

....and the arrival of the first train could be any day now.....(including today)

These webcams can be found here.

Lots of activity going on now...looks like ants at a picnic.

Lots of activity now that the cold isn't unbearable. Looks like some sort of vehicle in front of the station, not sure what is it/ what it has brought or is taking.

There's a yellow... digger?... across the pond from the bier garten.

side note, whatever landscaping was done to the right of Adventure Express looks nice and vibrant at this time stamp. Looks like the benches are gone.

Adventure Express will have a much more open entrance, which will be cool. I think they want Banshee to be shown off as much as they can. Similar to Diamondback actually.

Notice how the AZ circle is 100% gone.

Is it just me not seeing things right, or is the ball cage for slingshot gone? Do they put that up for the winter to protect it?

The DB and Banshee Cam 2 are not showing up for me right now... <_<

EDIT: A few minutes and a few refreshes of the page fixed my issue.

Like any other ride vehicle, it probably has to be disassembled, inspected, and reassembled every year.

I stand corrected. My New Jersey friends told me this song is about their Allentown. It is not. I learned something today.

Methinks your Jersey friends never listened fully to the lyrics: "Well we're waiting here in Allentown, for the Pennsylvania we never found."

Interesting stuff happening now in Octoberfest....It looks like the age and weight game may be gone...can't tell for sure....Plus the black top from Festhouse over to that area might have been removed. Shadows could be playing tricks here.....

Edit: Stones are also being placed to shore up the edge of the pond where they have been digging.

Edit: Age and weight is still there. Can't tell if the black top is gone...

I believe that they put those games away for winter, I would imagine they are mobile

I was looking back at some of my post and saw that i had posted "26 track pieces to go" on Jan 13th. It took them a mere 10 days to install 26 track pieces! Thats just over 1/4 of the entire ride in 10 days!!! Again, i can't congratulate these guys enough for their hard work and dedication!

They are definitely putting in brick pavers for AZ. I know it's just my opinion, but I personally feel that.

I can't wait till it's all done, and there's nice grass everywhere. But theres a lot of activity around the station and AZ plaza.

Perhaps the old target area is going to be a water feature or fountain of somekind. Or possible a large planter type area of sorts.. Just a thought.

Just a thought.... wouldn't it be really cool if this showed up in the circle in the middle of the Action Zone???
