I don't know. Some people may be okay with coasters that are 200'-300' high, but not okay with anything higher. Just curious to see what people thought about this. I wish they had a POV animation to show what it would be like. Imagine riding around the outside of a tower that's almost as high as Cincinnati's tallest building.

I'm sure I would ride this, and likely love it, after some level of razzing from my husband and mother. I can not see the GP wanting to ride this, but if there was any place it would be possible it is Vegas.

While this is certainly tall enough to scare people, I wonder about its speed. At 600 feet there is great potential for at least one drop around 200 feet. It could gain 80 mph then slow and go back to another speed around 60 mph. And so on. Sounds like it could be quite the thrill to me. Of course its also possible the drops will be smaller and not as fast/fun. We'll find out.

Actually, I believe we won't find out because I don't think this thing will get built. Vegas has so many abandoned projects and with this site's proximity to the airport, its highly possible the FAA won't approve it. Although, hopefully we will see it somewhere around the world in the next 5-10 years.

It would be interesting if they could build a loop on the outside of the tower to add to the thrill factor.

^Yep. Check out the first link in my OP. ;) Interesting video of it, too.

The drops will not be long nor the speed that fast, however, at that height (think of WindSeeker and being up there) it will be scary. (of course when I first saw this headline, I thought of a 650 ft. drop roller coaster)
