Crowds the last weekend.

Featured Replies

It will be. I went last year and the weather was freezing but regardless people still went and it was still packed. now that the weather's nice there will be more guests. For me, I'll be at a Friday Football game

KI is offering $25 tickets (+$5 fee per order) today only, valid Friday and Sunday. This would seem to indicate that they aren't expecting huge crowds on those days.

But yes, Saturday will be packed - the weather will be nice, it's the last weekend, and Sunday is forecast to be quite cold.

All the way through Sunday?

I wish

It is supposed to be great weather, so I would assume Saturday will be busy.

Have you looked at the weather report? High of 52 Sat and Sun partly cloudy

That is colder than usual for the last weekend. It will be dead.

There will be showers Saturday morning, but they should taper off by the time the park opens. Crowds might be light when the park opens, but it will certainly get packed.

Friday's hourly forecast looks eerily similar to the Haunt meet-up earlier this month, with lower 60s dropping to upper 40s and rain all night. That night, the park was nearly dead. If you go, do the outdoor haunts first before they get shut down. And dress warmly.

Sunday's forecast has improved; it should be 40 by 10am improving to 52 by the afternoon. It will be a lot less crowded than Saturday. There will be quite a few people from KICentral at the park on closing day, as is tradition, so try to meet some new faces if you go. You will be surprised by the way people dress when the weather is cold and or raining. While I wear my shirt, long sleeve sweatshirt, jacket, gloves and pants, I see young teens wearing shorts, a light shirt or sweater and open sandals. If I happen to mention it, they say they can take or are used to it. Dress for the weather is a wise choice. If you want to freeze, then so be it. But if it is raining, I will wear my issued rain jacket and hood along with layered, warm clothing.

Yes, I looked at the weather before I posted. 52 degrees is great weather, at least to me.

I enjoy different seasons of the year and i had my share of riding with flip-flops this year,im ready to ride in jeans and a jacket in the nice comfortable weather, hope the rain hits hard and then is gone with the crowds!

With all do respect Brian,im looking at weather report, you might be right! I hope i make it,I need a few more DB rides before winter!
