I figured someone on here would know the answer to my question. A friend of mine told me that the drove past Americana the other day and didn't notice the old wooden coaster the Screechin' Eagle. Did he totally just overlook it, or did they tear it down? I haven't driven past there in quite sometime and I don't know when I'll get the chance to drive past again. Just wondering if anyone in here knew anything about that. Thanks!

The Screechin' Eagle was torn down sometime last year (sad to say).

Wow I can't believe I missed that! I used to drive by there all the time on my way to school (I had some classes at Miami U Middletown). I used to ride that coaster all the time when I was younger. It's kind of sad to see rides like that get torn down.
