MY Honest Opinion

So I went to SC a while back, about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I noticed by the sand volleyball court and in front of the new wave pool, there's a sign that says "stay off grass". It's a big grassy area and a guy doing some measuring. Is this something new for SC?

It could just be a hoax by a local amusement park, as a publicity stunt for its latest attraction (Wave Pool 2).

Maybe they want to plant new grass?

What kind of measuring? Was he using a survey scope, or a measuring tape? Was he wearing a hardhat? He could be measuring the drainage slope or something like that.

I believe he was scoping for a water sprinkler system, some systems use fertilizer that you do not want on you, upon which also in that field are chigger bugs (as I call them) that hop on you if you get into the grass.

and sometimes........They simply just don't want you on their grass.

"Dang kids! Get off my lawn!"

That eerily reminds me of that old kook who accidentally poured cement on his wife in the [relatively] old "Monster House" movie. Man, that movie was crazy!
