Flight deck is the only coaster of it's kind at Kings Island. It's still greatly themed even after paramount sold KI and it has been a favorite of mine for years. I do often hear people complaining about the ride for the walk back there and how it was a "sorry excuse for a ride." Flight Deck has been a best class thrill ride for many years, so my question is, would they ever get rid of it?

One day, it may become obsolete which it could be torn down. The area is so hilly, I do not believe that it would be taken out in the near future.

Of course they will get rid of it eventually. Nothing lasts forever.

One day KI will run out of room and I think that will be the first to go. But It will take a long time since KI isnt even using all the land at this point.

This gets me thinking...

No one really realizes that besides woods, they use their coasters to perimeter the park, with the exception of Backlot Stunt Coaster and the Planet Snoopy coasters.

Flight Deck will be long gone before the park runs out of room.

If they are going to take out something in Action Zone we need to start by figure out what to do with "you know who/what".

We'll I think that if they decide to get rid of Flight Deck than Son of Beast needs to be thrown out with it and if they decide to get rid of Son of Beast than Flight Deck needs thrown out too. Even though I would like to see SoB stay, I still think that with both of those coasters removed, it would make a big space for a future coaster or park area.

Flight Deck is a great coaster for KI just needs other rides in that area to help its cause!.

Lets think business before enthusiast here.

Does it break down often? Is it a coaster they can add to their count, for advertisements/website/ect. ? Are they loosing money with maintenance costs, and is it worth it compared to hourly capacity? Who knows. Until they find a good financial reason, other than "its just old", then it will stay.

I swear, I think this "TheBEASTunchained" guy is mccarthysnerd. He capitalizes BEAST just like he did on mccarthsynerd's account, and uses the same grammar, spelling, etc. Or maybe I am just losing my mind.
