June 13, 201214 yr Its a simple question. For me its probably the Y&B club resort (preferably the yacht club), the Grand Floridian, and the GWL at KI
June 13, 201214 yr My house. But if I were to choose anywhere but, I would say Mariott? Wyndham is by far my favorite, but those are timeshares.
June 13, 201214 yr I stayed at the Yacht Club when I was at Disney and the that was very nice. The worst for the price is definitively GWL. Its unclean and I would not recommend it to anyone. Normally, I wouldnt complain about a hotel, but, Ive stayed there 3 times and each time it has gotten progressively worse.
June 13, 201214 yr My favorite hotel chain is Hilton Hotels, every hotel is clean, has a great pool, amazing, comfortable beds, and great customer service. I recommend anyone on vacation to stay at a Hilton hotel if it is nearby. This can even include Hampton Inn (owned by Hilton but a lot cheaper and more of a hotel to stay at when on the road), Hilton Garden Inn, and other Hilton owned hotels. My favorite single hotel would have to be the Bonnet Creek Hilton in Orlando I stayed at last week. Beautiful pool! KI FANATIC 37, Great Wolf Lodge is not that bad. While it is overpriced, every one of my stays has been clean and free of bed bugs, referring to the amount of bed bug reports at the hotel. One complaint I have with the hotel is they make the rooms seem like they're so amazing on the website, but really, it's just a simple hotel room and not "themed" like they say it is. Oh, well. I still love Great Wolf!
June 13, 201214 yr Best Hotel at an amusement park - Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disney Best Hotel Chain when traveling with the family - Country Inn & Suites Best Individual Hotel - So many to choose from with the Vegas Hotels. My choice would be Venetian/Palazzo or maybe Wynn/Encore or Bellagio or Mandalay Bay - although in some ways NY-NY and MGM are more my style.
June 13, 201214 yr GWL for the adventure feel. Marriott by the ghost of Biggs in Mason, or Embassy Suites in Blue Ash for quality.
June 13, 201214 yr I miss the one and only Flamingo. Sigh. And I'm a veteran of the Hotel at Conneaut Lake. No air, no heat, tubs--no showers (somewhere there is a 15 year old photo of Terpy crashing a wedding reception in the bar, wearing a rubber shower hose around his neck!).
June 15, 201214 yr I've been lucky, the times i've stayed there i have had a shower. Not that i used it, it was October and chilly both times. I'm sure Elizabeth wouldn't be to happy with your wedding atire.
June 15, 201214 yr When I am on vacation, the motel is only a place for me to sleep and nothing else. I stay at a clean, cheap rates, motel chain. It is only a place to return to relax after having fun and enjoying the events of the day. So in that light, I will stay at a Motel 6 vs the Hilton or even the GWL.
