Well I guess that people who thoguht it was Days of THunder on side B were right.

This is actually huge news! Spongebob is ok, but I think I'd rather wait in line for Days of Thunder. (Now there's TWO rides named that!) How long's it ben since DoT was there? Seven years? That's pretty cool. I certainly thought it was gone for good after 007 took over and then I certainly thought it was gone when the other stuff took over! I actually like nostalgisitc experiences so it's definately gonna be a good feeling when I get to ride it (hopefully) in July.

Considering DoT is the only ride featured on side A that I never rode, I am very excited. I will be there on memorial day to ride it for the first time!

NASCAR has gained a lot of popularity since DoT left the Action Theater at the end of the 1997 season. It is hard to believe that 1997 was seven years ago. I remember rding DoT, but I didn`t ride it a lot and enjoyed it. It was in the theater before I had a season pass, so the days I went to the park, DoT wasn`t exactly high on my list of must rides.

I hope they re-vamped the film, last time I rode it it was fuzzy and crackly from being played for years.

I would assume that it would be a new film. Does the park send back the films after they are done viewing them, or do they store them somewhere for future use? If they send them back, do they send them to Iwerks?

Just a guess, but I'm willing to say that they keep the film as well as the programs in storage.

Yes we do order new prints for the shows, and yes we keep the old films to use as test film to calibrate the lenses every year.
