May 13, 201214 yr This is a thread to share your own reviews on restaurants, I think that it has been long enough for our own ideas to arise, and new reports by our own KIC. Post/Ride on KIC, BB1
May 13, 201214 yr Is correctness like accuracy and productiveness like productivity? Terpy, who et at Mirch Masala today, and is headed for Sheridan's Frozen Custard. http://www.mirchmasaladecatur.com/
May 14, 201214 yr It's nice to see a topic like this. There are a lot of good restaurants out there close to amusement parks all over the country and I'd love to see what others have experienced in that arena. Having said that, here are a few of the ones we've been lucky enough to head to: Cedar Point (Sandusky) - Chet & Matt's Pizza & El Potrillo Mexican (good burritos) Worlds of Fun (Kansas City) - Oklahoma Joe's BBQ (best barbecue and sauce in the country IMO) & Pot Pie (the restaurant) Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ) - Oliver: A Bistro Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN) - Chandler's Deli & Puleo's Grille Six Flags St. Louis - Gelato Di Riso (try the lemon & blueberry sorbettos); Southtown Pub (good barbecue there); de.lish Cheesecake Bakery & Cafe (lemon cheesecake & quiche) Kings Dominion (Richmond, VA) - Helen's Restaurant; Zeytin's Pizza (pizza only); Roma's Ristorante

May 20, 201214 yr Author This was a review on the establishment Outback, if you have a review please post in the further pages.
May 20, 201214 yr I love Outback. Great place, just wish I could afford to go there more often. I usually get either the ribeye steak or the baby back ribs. Both are great.
May 20, 201214 yr Does anyone else here LOVE City Barbeque? I can't stop getting it...the ribs with the mac and cheese...
May 20, 201214 yr Author I know of a CB near me, I may review. Where art thy godfathers pizza? Outback ribs sound great!
May 20, 201214 yr Speaking of Godfather's - does anyone know of Padrino in Old Milford? It is my favorite restaurant. Best pizza in Cincinnati! (Padrino = Godfather in Italian, by the way). If you haven't had it, if you live within 30 minutes of Milford, please check it out sometime!
May 21, 201214 yr Author This was a review on Skyline Chili, if you have a review please post in the further page.
May 21, 201214 yr Me, too. I only wish we had them down here in Georgia. A new Del Taco just opened in Kennesaw.
May 21, 201214 yr Interestingly enough, a Gold Star seems to be doing very well in Russell, Kentucky in a location where Skyline failed.
May 21, 201214 yr It WOULD be shocking, IF it were true. The four Daoud brothers from Jordan started Gold Star, with its roots as a hamburger restaurant. Skyline has roots that go back to Empress.
May 21, 201214 yr Does anyone else here LOVE City Barbeque? I can't stop getting it...the ribs with the mac and cheese... One of my favorite places. Wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. Best BBQ I've ever had.
May 21, 201214 yr You gotta love Georgia. Or maybe not. If you order a hot dog with "sauce" down here, you likely will be asked if honey mustard is okay. Or barbecue. Sigh. Here they call it chili, and typically it's Armour, heated straight from the can. Blech.
May 21, 201214 yr Note even The Varsity refers to chili dogs. Their sauce, though, is not chili, but coarse ground beef with little flavoring. The Varsity has great onion rings and frosted orange, but the hot dogs are little better than those prepared by the average six year old (unless it's your six year old, whose hot dogs would of course be superb). http://www.thevarsity.com/menus/The_Varsity_Downtown_Menu.pdf
May 21, 201214 yr Author I may visit the Varsity some time if i can, my friend talked about it for about an hour.
May 22, 201214 yr It's an experience and an Atlanta must do. That being said, been there, done that...years before I came down here to live. I've had The Varsity twice since I moved down here. Both times its truck came to me, the last time at Six Flags before the park opened. I had a burger and onion rings. There's a message in there somewhere.
