2012 Platinum Pass Question

Featured Replies

I have yet to renew my pass for this year. Ive heard that they are a different style. If anyone has a picture I am curious to see what they look like.

Really - it feels like cardboard. I'd much rather have the old material, but I guess it doesn't matter as long as it gets me into the park!

Are you joking! Cardboard!!!

That is definitively a big down to me! I love getting my pass out to look at it. Bummer...

Just a note - I've had Disney annual passes before, and they are definitely paper. Always thought the KI ones were WAY nicer.

It's not cardboard but it feels like it. It doesn't shine anymore and it looks like something I could print off my computer.

Platinum passes are *exactly* what we were issued last year - and what we have are plastic. Certainly they have held up to the waterpark and wet rides, and everything else we could throw at them. Bring it! :D

I believe the passes being issued currently are different from what was issued during the pre-season processing days.

CPointer - you may be right, but the stack they had during early pass processing were identical to what's in my pocket. We went down hoping to get the Snoopy platinum passes, but alas, they were the same. Maybe they used those up and went to something other, but I doubt it wouldn't be waterproof. :)
