April 12, 201214 yr The 25th Anniversary...now we are approaching the 40th...time flys when you're having fun! I'm not a big fan of this cover...I think I know what the designer was going for, but to me this cover looks more like a swimming pool brochure than an amusement park brochure. I like this page a lot. Scooby Doo, Where Are You
April 12, 201214 yr The thing that caught my attention here was the Flight of Fear page. "Brace yourself" and seeing pictures of those nasty OTSRs summed up the ride at that time pretty well!
April 12, 201214 yr I never realized the wave pool was heated In certain spots, where kids usually are.
April 12, 201214 yr www.pki.com... I would have loved to seen the complexity of that website back in 1997.. boy how times have changed

April 12, 201214 yr Why are the brochures so...boring now? The older ones had so much color and just looked..fun!
April 12, 201214 yr Web was little used. Social media was unheard of. TV was expensive. Brochures were a major marketing tool for the park, much more so than now.
April 24, 201214 yr I don't know how I managed to miss this thread, but this is a huge blast from the past for me. The mid- to late 90's were when I first knew the park, so it's really cool seeing this time period... although, in pic #4, it looks like Scooby's got a pretty serious case of the derps.
April 24, 201214 yr I really miss the KI and PKI of the 80's and 90's. It was such a different atmosphere than it is today.
