Park Pictures

Featured Replies

Ok, well all know some KI rides take your picture in the most extreme parts, i was curious if you could find them somewhere because i was too lazy to wait in line for my picture for Firehawk, if so please direct me over to that site, oh and please post your pictures here for our entertainment. ;D

The pictures that they take when you enter the gate (despite your protests) do go online, and the piece of paper they give you tells you how to view them. I don't think they do that for ride photos though. But I've been wrong before.

i knew you could do that with the pictures they take when you first go in(they bumbarge you when you arrive) and i didnt like my pictures so i decided not to buy them last year, yeah im curious on the pictures from rides..

what is bumbarge? Or do you mean bombard? :P

And as far as the on-ride pictures, I dunno if they did have those posted online and even if they did, wouldn't they been long erased now that a new season is about to start?

Just pull out a colored piece of paper and say that i already got one. They will stop. Lol.

Was Diamondback the only ride to offer sending pictures to your email address?

They did? Hmm, didn't know.

They did during Diamondback's opening year. Not sure if it was continued after that year.

Hmm, interesting.

You still had to pay for it for them to email it to you, by the way. You won't find a way to get a picture for free. At least, not last season.

Last season, you had to buy a physical photo and could have the email sent as an add-on. That was under the leadership of a CEO who considered technology an "add-on" though, so who knows how that may change.

They emailed em like crazy during Ride Warriors Weekend. That event was so good my brain stored it in the wonderful dream section.

I think they all use the same software, so I'd assume they all have it.

I know last season on BBoBH My friend and I got our pictures taken, we asked if we were allowed to just use our phones to capture the photo, the lady (really nice) at first said that "No, we aren't aloud to do that." However she did change her mind and said sure. You you could always try that...(doubt it'd work though)

The CP on ride photos only have a several hour hold before they are deleted. They also have banned photo taking in the on ride photo stores, as the images are intellecutal property of Cedar Point.

my cousin did that xD i was like "No stop, you're gonna get me kicked out of Kings Island DANG IT!''

Hmmmmmm you know, just thinking out loud here. I would not see how taking a pic of the pic in the ride photo place could be frowned on, As I have never received any type of compensation for using my likeness to receive a profit by the park.

I'm sure that I have been in more then 1 photo that has been sold by KI for profit to someone other then myself.

On all the park maps there is a section that says something like by entering the park you give us the right to use your picture in future park productions, etc...

We just took several pictures with our camera of our ride photos at universal studios-adventure island! Never even crossed my mind not to nor did anyone say anything. Not sure if its a rule there or not but either way we have cherished photos and had someone told me to stop i probably would have kept my wallet in my pocket and not bought the food, shirts, etc. so both sides were happy! Knowing now this might be against the rules at some parks i will ask for now on!

We were just at the Universal Parks, as well as Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Never on any of the rides did anyone there even attempt to keep anyone from taking photos of the ride pics. Not once in four days. So much so, that I started taking pics of most of them.

The late 1930's era Germans in the DB ride photo area might want to take a page out of their "hospitality" book. Heard many people just berated there...over the top, IMO.

Even if it is "banned", I don't need to hear riders being yelled at and threatened.
