It is my unfortunate responsibiity to inform you that Morgan Judd, a talented young dancer who was featured in Hot Summer Nights this past season, has passed away. On behalf of myself and the KIC Universe, I offer our thoughts and prayers to her friends and family.

It's so sad to hear this. I didn't see Hot Summer Nights as much as other shows in the park this summer, now I wish I had stopped to watch it more. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

I hope her family is holding up. Hot summer nights was the only show I never got to see in 2011. I'll keep her in my prayers.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Morgan Judd. Morgan, a first-year Wake Forest student and a member of the dance team, died today after a brief illness.

The Counseling Center staff and campus ministers will be available to offer support to all in need from 2-3 p.m. today in room 301 of the Benson Center.

Tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. faculty, staff and students are invited to gather in room 409 of the Benson Center to join in a “Circle of Friends for Morgan.”

On Friday from 4-8 p.m., the family will accept visitors at the Ursuline Academy, 5535 Pfeiffer Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hyde Park, 2853 Erie Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45208.

Wake Forest will hold a memorial service for Morgan at the start of the spring semester. Details will be shared when available.

From what I understand, she died from an aneurysm. Very sad...

I had a cousin die from an aneurysm this past summer. She was only 29. Didn't think much of her last Facebook post when she said that she had a bad headache. Then 6 hours later she was found dead. Very sad and can happen without much warning.

I feel for the Judd family's loss.

Very sad indeed. She was very talented and a fantastic young lady. She will be missed.

Wow. You just never know. Will be thinking of her family during this time.

Tragic I have some pictures of her from the summer. Wayyyy too young. Thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Very sad to hear this. Condolences go out to her family and friends. Hearing something like this makes you put things in perspective since she was very young.
