Howl-o-Fest 2011?

Featured Replies

Did anyone go this weekend? If so, was it any different than last year? Wasn't sure with the Trick or Treat with the Dinos thing...

Im glad I didnt go yesterday like I planned. thought the calender on the website said It was going to be open yesterday.

I thought it was closed for a private event, but I could be wrong?

You are correct. The main reason they didn't have Howl o Fest this weekend, is because they were never open during the day to the public. Saturday they opened at 7, and Sunday they did not open at all (to the public)

I am not sure how far away jlopez lives from the park, but it is a good thing she did not make the trip.

My kids were disappointed in howl-o-fest today.

No pumpkins and no candy unless you want to pay extra for Dino's.

Was there with my friends' kids. They had fun, though the foam dance party seemed like a bad idea with the extreme temps. There were kids who were soaked, but I guess most of that is on the parents for letting them go play in the foam.

Oh well, the kids liked it all and yeah, candy was scarce though they got some little goodies in the "Twisted Tales" area and a piece of candy from the guy by the little cornhole sets. Not sure that they really expected candy or anything, but they enjoyed it just the same.
