I was looking around the internet and found these articles on Phantom Theater:

and Preview of the (then new) Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle:

Yeah.. such a shame they tore down this timeless attraction (akin to the Haunted Mansion at WDW) to install a boring cardboard cutout style attraction for babies.

I don't know if i would call Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle a cardboard cutout style attraction for babies, and especially not Boo Blasters. Personally, I think Boo Blasters can be frightening to some younger ones, and even when it was Scooby Doo, with some of the scenes.

I agree with my counterpart (haha same name almost :D). I really enjoy riding both SDaTHC as well as Boo Blasters. Its a fun little ride to get out of the heat and you can beat your friends in a game of KILL THE GHOSTS haha...

awsome though i wish u could click to enlarge the photos :-)

just to touch on this subject; i remember hearing XGaterHead8704 (someone correct me on my spelling/#'s) stating that after taking gator girl thru on it's grand opening day, & they stopped (not slowed down but STOPPED!!!) on the scene with all the skeletons, she wigged out & stated after they got off:

DADY... ...i will NEVER ride that ride again!
