Ride of Steel: Chain Breaks

Featured Replies

Geez! When it rains on parks this year, it really pours. On the other hand... really? Such coverage about a chain breaking? Did Vortex get such coverage? (Then again, Vortex didn't have a fatality just a month earlier...)

HAHAHAAHAHAHAH im dieing laughing over that lady in the video! The GP is so goofy. Roller coaster chains break all the time, just because someone with NO legs fell out and died does't mean it's not safe, it means the people running the ride are clowns.

While I agree with you, the way you said it was kind of harsh.....

...but really, one incident anyways does not mean the ride isn't safe.

Well, no one was hurt, and everyone was able to walk down safely. I agree that it was just a fluke, and perhaps shouldn't have got that coverage.

It does reiterate the rule that a passenger must be able to walk to the seat, though.

Another example in a long list of why media reports should be questioned.

I wonder if Ms. Strange has heard about the deaths related to crossing the street and does she still let her kids do it?
