July 26, 201115 yr This type of coaster seems very challenging to work with. I am not surprised with all the obstacles that Knoebels encountered while constructing it. I wouldn't ride it anyways. The thought of having no track is outrageous.
July 26, 201115 yr ^Say that to DISpatch mASTER TRANSPORT or to Avalanche at KD. Hm. How long did it take to build these two rides? If not long, then Knoebels has one big problem.
July 26, 201115 yr Knoebel's is trying to use an old style of the trackless ride compared to the previously mentioned which were built using modern technology (in which sand was not taken in to consideration.) Terpy, this whole series of articles is an interesting read.
July 26, 201115 yr i found this 3days prior & linked it on my facebook. id really like to ride this; it would be like riding a piece of history.
July 29, 201115 yr I think this one would be more fun to ride. I would love this ride. I was told there was something akin to this in Ober Gatlinberg, called the Alpine slide, but I'm much prefer this.

Alpine slide at Ober Gatlinberg does not have a lift hill and you can control your speed and breaking. I hope the flying turns turns out like the Screamin' Delta Demon that was a fun ride.
July 29, 201115 yr Yes the Delta Demon was a very fun ride. I hope someday they get the Turns up and going and some think SoB is nightmare of a project.
