Windseeker Testing Video at Full Speed (Not Full Height Though)

Featured Replies

Here is a video of WindSeeker testing. It was spinning and going up the tower at almost full speed, the spin is at full speed as you can see, but it only went up to about 150 feet.

Alright, honestly, it does look fun. Not scary, but fun. I know, I have mixed feelings...originally I thought it looked terrible, but now it looks fun. Now I'm getting excited for it!

It was going all the way up last night and it was BEAUTIFUL.

It was at the top during the Fireworks finale :)

Hey we were up there too. :)

I was in line for The Beast during the fireworks so I missed this. I did see it on the ground though and it looked beautiful. Some of the ride operators were doing practice with opening and closing the harnesses, they said they were hoping to open it up within the next week.

I also got an upclose look at the testing dummies, and they said B@M on them so I'm assuming these are the same ones used on DB.

I am still wondering about this ride. I am not a big fan of the other spinning swing set, but then again this is much bigger than that . This could be amusing.

I commented on that not long ago. If you see them more closely, "B&M" is crossed out with permanent ink marker and "Carowinds" is written below that (also with permanent-ink marker).

We were in line for DB during the fireworks. Ended up scoring a ride on the last train of the night. Was a VERY energetic group on that ride and we had a blast :)

I got a chance to catch a spin on Cedar Point's WindSeeker. I only waited about 20 mins. The ride was spectacular, the view also great.

My favorite thing was the light display was amazing, the different light patterns were fun.

If you get a chance to ride without a super long wait, it is well worth it.
